Mia Coken

Mia Coken is a trained actress based in New York City. While originally from the Chicago suburbs, she's really found a home here in the big apple.

Mia grew up being apart of every sport/club she could get her hands on. She was a competitive gymnast, played volleyball, ran track, was in her high school's Chamber, Varsity Women's, and Jazz choir, was in drama club, and was a part of eleven total productions in high school! Some of which included Romeo and Juliet, Les Misérables, Beauty and the Beast, and Peter Pan. After trying every activity under the sun, Mia discovered her true passion was working in the theatre.

Once she realized this, it was off to the races trying a bit of everything she could in the world of theatre. Of course most of all, she loved performing. Other than that, she's written and directed her own work, and she's done multiple crew positions including set building, light board, sound board, spotlights, and stage managing. Mia hopes to continue to learn crew positions while pursuing acting!

It wasn't long before Mia was auditioning for schools and went to The American Musical and Dramatic Academy on a scholarship. She's worked hard at school and is ready and excited to dive into the entertainment world.
